Morganti, Santina (Panciocco) 86, of Needham, MA passed away Monday, December 28, 2015. Born in San Giovanni Incarico, Italy. Santina was a retired employee of Needham’s Glover Memorial Hospital where she worked for over 30 years. She was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony Morganti, a lifelong Needham resident who passed away in 1995. A survivor of World War II she arrived in the United States in 1946.
Loving mother of Joanne M. Morganti-Hill and her husband Richard of Bourne, Al Morganti and his wife Carole of Philadelphia, PA. Proud grandmother of Wendy and Barry Proctor and Taylor Morganti. Sister of Helen Urso of Acton and the late Dante Panciocco. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. (Exit 19B off 128) NEEDHAM, Wednesday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation prior to the Mass from 830 to 930 in the funeral home. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
