Obituary

Worcester: Mr. Theo Clavette, 77, formerly of Lawrence, MA and Danville, NH, died December 17, 2015 at St. Mary Health Care Center in Worcester, MA after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. The son of Jos H. Clavette and Claudia (Roy) Clavette, he was born in Green River, New Brunswick, Canada. Mr. Clavette was a retired employee of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Methuen, MA and prior to that worked for 20 years at Malden Mills. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He was predeceased in death by his wife of 57 years, Irene (Tardif) Clavette who lost her own battle with Alzheimer's disease just 9 months ago. He was also predeceased by his brother, Rudolph Clavette and his brother Real Clavette.Mr. Clavette is survived by two daughters, Denise and her husband David Flattery of Worcester, MA and Lise Parker of Webster, NH, one son, James Clavette and his wife, Jane of Danville, NH. One brother, Louis Clavette, of New Brunswick, Canada, five sisters, Clairna Francoeur of New Brunswick, Canada, Wellena Byrnes of Derry, NH, Armande Dubois of Lawrence, MA, Juliette Lizotte of Sandown, NH and Pauline Clavette of Quebec, Canada.He leaves his five grandchildren, Ryan Flattery, Jenna Flattery, Renee (Clavette) Crawford and her husband Tyler, Marc Parker and his wife Nicole and Matthew Parker. Five Great-Granddaughters, Haley, Aurora, Zarah, Carly and Reese, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 11:00 am at St. Monica Church in Methuen. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edgar J.
