Gilford-----Richard W. Giguere, age 78, of Sargents Place, Gilford, NH, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Laconia Rehabilitation Center. He was born on August 21, 1937 in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Romeo and Irene (Mayo) Giguere.
Richard enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales. He also enjoyed watching old John Wayne western movies. He was a life time member of the Laconia Rod and Gun Club.
Members of the family include his wife of 37 years, Linda Giguere (Cabral); step daughter Tammy Stone of Webster, MA; sister, Marie Desrosiers of NH; six step grandchildren, Jay, Jason, Jesse, Tiffani, Daniel and Erika; six step great-grandchildren, J-Mitch, Anthony, Tylor, Nathan, Jordyn and Xavier. Richard also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Richard was predeceased by a step daughter, Deborah O'brien, a sister, Lorraine Brazeau and a brother, Donald Giguere.
No services are scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Richard's name to a charity of one's choosing.
