Nolan, Kathleen V. (McDonough) Nolan, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Born in Boston, she grew up in Dorchester and graduated from Mt. St. Joseph Academy, Brighton. A retired 30 year employee of New Eng. Telephone Co., Mrs. Nolan was a late member of New England Telephone Pioneers. The beloved wife of 60 years of Thomas F. Nolan and the loving daughter of the late George & Catherine McDonough, she is also survived by her devoted children; Thomas W. of Boston, Catherine M. Nolan of Milton, Eileen M. Mann & her husband William, Patricia A. Nolan & her husband Anthony Ruffini & Sheila R. King & her husband Robert, all of Braintree, Maureen T. McGrath & her husband Douglas of Dorchester & Michael J. Nolan & his wife Lauren of Milton and her 15 cherished grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Thomas, Helen, George & Mary and dear friend of Barbara Gazzolo of Quincy, Helen Reardon of Weymouth and her life long friend of 80 years Evelyn Lundrigan of Milton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton, Wednesday at 10 am. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Old Colony Hospice, One Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
