Kirsten Svea Dokka was born October 30, 1979 to John & Patricia Dokka. Kirsten was the pride and joy of John & Patty, a happy and outgoing little girl who brought joy to all who knew her. Kirsten loved school, playing with friends and dolls. She loved music, her favorite was “New Kids On The Block.” She even talked Patty into taking her to one of their concerts. They both had a great time. John & Kirsten had a wonderful relationship and John was so proud of his girl. When John passed it was devastating to Kirsten, it strengthened her and Patty to become best friends. Patty and Kirsten were a package deal, never apart and stayed that way , up to Patty’s passing last year. In 2008, Kirsten gave birth to Hannah, which she always called her greatest blessing. Kirsten and Hannah carried the same strong mother daughter bond that she had with Patty. Hanna was Kirsten’s strength and purpose, and brought the greatest of joy and pride to her mommy. Kirsten loved the Lord and shared her faith with Hannah, which in turn gave her strength beyond her years. Kirsten was also known as Aunty K to her nephews and nieces, she was especially close to her nieces. Kirsten will be greatly missed by her brothers, John, Todd (Anne), Ken, and Chris (Deb); nephews & nieces, Sarah, Chris, Tricia, Abby, Aaron, Caleb, Devin; and great nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. Funeral Service Thursday (December 10, 2015) 11:00 AM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation 1/2 hour prior to the Service.
