Obituary

Josephine (Jo) Buckley (Brennan), age 86, of Duxbury and Sagamore Beach, formerly of South Weymouth and Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham.

Josephine was born in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. She worked for the telephone company before starting a family. She was married for 62 years to her husband Bob and raised seven children.

Josephine, along with her husband, were the founders of Buckley Associates, Inc., an HVAC company of Hanover, MA. The company just celebrated their 45th anniversary on March 17th.

Until her macular degeneration took her eye sight, her passions were golf, sewing, knitting, quilting, cooking, playing bridge and bowling. She loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Sagamore Beach Colony Club.

Josephine was the wife of the late Robert Buckley. She is survived by her children; Robert Buckley II and his wife Karen of Sagamore Beach, Steven Buckley and his wife Carolyn of Laconia, NH, Tom Buckley and his wife Kim of Hebron, CT, Susan Mielbye and her husband David of Hanson, Kathy Pagliuca and her husband David of East Bridgewater, Dan Buckley and his wife Kris of Clifton Park, NY, and late Kevin Buckley of Plymouth. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; Robert III, Ryan, Sean, Paul, Amanda, Jennifer, Evan, Tom, Kahler, Tim, Jessica, Kristi, Michelle, Joseph, Adam, Ryan, Matthew, Erin, Kelly and six great-grandchildren; Benjamin, Claire, Zachary, Talia, Clark and Abigail.

Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Funeral services from Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 9:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury, at 10:00 AM.

Interment services will be private.
