James C. Pugsley, 56, of Derry, NH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 20, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 21, 1959 in Boston, MA, a son of Patricia (Griffen) and Charles H. Pugsley Sr. James attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he majored in software engineering. He worked for many software companies, most recently working for Sun, which is now known as Oracle. James was very generous with his charitable contributions. He was an avid traveler, taking many trips to Japan and studied their language for more than 25 years. James truly enjoyed life.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Pugsley of Lady Lake, FL, three brothers, Edward Pugsley of Cambridge, MA, Andrew Pugsley of Bristol, CT, and Charles Pugsley Jr and his wife, Jeanette Schier-Pugsley of Pelham, NH, two nieces Katarina and Kyra Pugsley, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 9 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A graveside service will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the individuals favorite charity in memory of James.
