Ann M. (Butler) Feeney, a 4 year resident of Billerica and longtime resident od Charlestown, entered into eternal life in her home in Billerica on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 following a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. She was 71 years old.
Ann was born in Boston on May 28, 1944, a daughter of the late Francis Butler and Nora (Harrington) Butler. She grew up in East Boston where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Fitton High School in East Boston. Ann worked as a Accounts Manager for Keane Incorporated in Charlestown for over 15 years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting where she made many blankets and donated them the service men and women of our armed forces overseas.
Ann is the beloved wife of the late retired Boston Firefighter William G. Feeney. She is the devoted mother of Sean Feeney, Kevin Feeney and his wife Lisa, Brian Feeney and Jaclyn Feeney. She is the loving grandmother of Connor and Cameron Feeney. She is the beloved sister of Dottie Marcella, Noreen Feeney, Mary Grafton, Francis Butler Jr., Paul Butler, and Patricia Butler. She is also the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ann's Funeral on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
