Obituary

Richard E. McLaughlin 69 of Natick died peacefully Monday November 23, 2015 at his home.
He was the beloved husband of Anne M (Burke) McLaughlin sharing 32 years of marriage.

A Natick resident for 45 years he was born in Woburn, the son of the late Joseph and Dorothea (Butterworth) Rufo.

Mr. McLaughlin worked in Security for the Raytheon Corporation for 40 years retiring in 2010.

Mr. McLaughlin was a dedicated Life Member of the Natick Elks Lodge B.P.O E. 1425, and worked tirelessly for many years to promote the Lodge Scholarship Fund awarded to students each year.

He enjoyed summers with family and friends in Brant Rock.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Donald E. McLaughlin and his wife Cynthia of Merrimack NH, James M. McLaughlin and his wife Diane of Framingham, one brother William McLaughlin and his wife Carole of Vero Beach, FL, two grandchildren, Michael and Julie McLaughlin, his mother in law June Burke of Natick, brothers in law Peter Burke and his wife Marguerite of Millis, Paul Burke and his wife Andrea of Hopkinton, David Burke and his wife Elvia of Sandy Hook CT, and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Lawrence G. McLaughlin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday, November 30th at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Linus Church.

Visiting hour are Sunday, November 29th from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M.
