Laurence Edward Adams “Larry”, age 70, passed away on November 21, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. Son of the late Frederic C. Adams Sr. and the late Grace (McAnaul) Adams. Brother of Paul Adams of Miami, FL, the late Dorothy Ann Wilcox of Weymouth, the late Frederic C. Adams of Weymouth, Stephen Adams and his wife Joan of Jacksonville, FL, Thomas A. Adams of Weymouth, the late Richard Adams of Weymouth, and Janice McKinney of Bridgewater. Uncle of the late Charles J. Wilcox III of Boston, Christine Wilcox of Weymouth, Debra Rossman and her husband Richard of Manchester, NH, Kerry Campbell of Exeter, NH, Lauren Adams of Jacksonville, FL, Jaime Adams of Jacksonville, FL, and Justin McKinney of Las Vegas NV. Nephew of Joan Connors and her late husband William of Abington. Cousin of Brian Connors of Carver and Barry Connors and his wife Cynthia of Sharon. Great uncle of Logan Campbell of Exeter, NH, and Dylan Wilcox-Frank of Weymouth.
Larry was a member of the United States Army Security Agency and served in Vietnam. Sworn in as an attorney before the MA Supreme Judicial Court on June 10, 1974. Hired as right of way agent II by MA Department of Public Works (now Mass DOT) on December 30, 1985. Appointed Counsel 1 as conveyancing attorney in 1988, and appointed counsel II in charge of conveyancing section in 1995.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Larry on Monday November 30, 2015 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside service on Tuesday December 1, 2015 at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Abington at 1pm.
