FALL RIVER…Dolores (Carvalho) Mello, 77, of Fall River passed away November 21, 2015 at St. Anne’s Hospital.
She was the widow of the late Robert Mello.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John V.and Emily (Costa) Carvalho and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mrs. Mello was a communicant of St. Bernadette Parish and worked as an inspector for the former Case Curtains in Fall River prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
Survivors include a sister: Theresa A. Place of Fall River, a brother: John V. "Vinny" Carvalho of Somerset, several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Louise M. Holt, Madeline DiNardo and Charles A. Carvalho.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 9 AM at St. Bernadette Parish, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Arrangements are entrusted to South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River.
