PODOLSKI, Elizabeth A. (Galvin) Passed away peacefully at her home in Dedham, surrounded by her loving family on November 19 at the age of 95. Wife of the late Charles Podolski. Loving mother of Paul and his wife Martha, Chuck and his wife Kathy, Betsy Abbott and her husband Ricky, all of Dedham, Peter and his wife Maryann of Kingston. Cherished Nana of Laura and Sean Reynolds, Andrew and Marisa Podolski, Amy and Allen Chang, Daniel and Vanessa Podolski, Michael Podolski, Christine and Bruce Cote, Cody Abbott and AnnieJoy Abbott, and 8 great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by a large extended family and many friends. Betty worked at Dedham Town Hall for over 30 years and was an avid Boston sports fan. She was devoted to her family and faith and enjoyed celebrating Flag Day and summers at Herring Pond.
Funeral from the George F Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham, at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Monday, Nov. 23 from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
