Zofia Kobrzynska, 88, of Methuen passed away Tuesday November 17th at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover. She was born in Poland and after immigrating she worked as a cook at the Post Office Diner in Lawrence for 20 years, Zofia also worked at Western Electric in North Andover for 3 years, but most importantly she owned and operated Zofia Kobrzynska Realty and Trust Company for over 40 years. In her free time Zofia enjoyed knitting, crocheting, watching TV, and cooking.
Zofia is survived by her sons Walter Kobrzynski of Methuen, Richard Kobrzynski and his wife Elaine of Hooksett NH, granddaughters Rochelle Shaw and her husband Allen of Mesa AZ, and Tess Kobrzynski of Hooksett NH.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday November 23rd from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 24th at 9 AM at St Monica’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow at the Polish National Cemetery also in Methuen.
