J. Kevin Tirrell October 27, 1955 – November 17, 2015
Kevin passed away on November 17, 2015 after a long, valiant battle with cancer.
Born in Brockton, MA, Kevin was the cherished long time love of Janet Sullivan, beloved son of Robert L. Tirrell of Daytona Beach, FL and Carol (Berglund) Andrews and Richard Andrews of Abington, loving father of Shaun Tirrell of Stoneham, Matthew Tirrell of Somerville and Christopher Tirrell, United States Navy, devoted brother of Lee Tirrell of Winchester, Cindy Coyle of Abington and Ginny & Dana Wheeler of New Hampshire, kind and generous uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Graduated from Whitman Hanson Regional High School in 1974, Kevin was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Abington Lions Club.
He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, sport fisherman, gifted writer, golfer and a passionate fan of all New England sports teams.
Kevin and Janet enjoyed many happy vacations in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours to be held Saturday November 21 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
