Laconia– Therese R. (Proulx) Mailloux, 86, died November 16, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital following a brief illness surrounded by her family.
She was born in Manchester on January 28, 1929 the daughter of Majorique and Angelina (Perusse) Proulx and had been a resident of Manchester and more recently of Gilford.
She graduated from Villa Augustina School.
She was a former parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Louis J. Mailloux on February 27, 2014.
Family members include two daughters, Irene K. Blouin and her husband Paul of Gilford, Yvette S. Mailloux of Laconia, one grandson, Brent Blouin and his wife Christine, two great grandchildren, Kendra and Kaden Blouin, one brother in law, Robert J. Mailloux of Manchester, one sister in law, Doris O’Neil of Holliston, MA. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
