Obituary

NATICK: Cassandra Leslie (Robinson) Vachon, age 72, of Natick, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2015, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Priscilla and Samuel Robinson, and leaves behind her brothers, Samuel Rice Robinson III and his wife Karen Piazza Robinson and William Robinson; and a sister, Frederica Robinson. She was married to Paul Emile Vachon until his untimely death in 1978.

Cassandra is also survived by her eldest son, Matthew Aaron Vachon of VT, her daughter, Renee Vachon Thisse of MA, and son Paul Andrew Vachon of NH. In addition to her children, she leaves behind eight grandchildren, Nicholas Henry Thisse II, Francis Musgrove Thisse, Derek Robinson Thisse, James Hunter Thisse, Joslin Leslie Vachon, Jaime Diana Vachon, Paul Andrew Vachon II and Alexandra Lincoln Vachon.

Cassandra was employed as a fitness instructor and yoga teacher for many years, had been an electronics teacher at the Quinobin Technical School, and most recently worked with Hanna Hearing Aid Center in Natick. She touched the hearts of everybody she met and had a great love for her family and friends who loved her back. Cassandra had a passion for quilting and 50’s Rock and Roll music and will be deeply missed by all the people she touched over her amazing life.

Relatives and friends may visit with the Vachon Family at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Saturday, November 21st beginning at 2:00PM, and are welcome to join in a time of remembrance at 3:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Cassandra’s memory to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 90 Wells Avenue, Newton, MA 02459.
