Mary Boutwell Rutti
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, November 13, 2015, Mrs. Mary Boutwell Rutti. She was married for 40 years to the love of her life, the late Ray Boutwell and to the late Harold E. Rutti for 23 years.
Mary was born in Aiken Co., but lived in Richmond County for many years where she was a longtime Sunday School Teacher at Mize Memorial United Methodist Church. In her later years she moved to Columbia County and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed traveling, reading, fishing, and gardening.
Family members include her daughter: Judy Boutwell Reaves; son: Michael Boutwell Sr. (Regina); daughter-in-law: Cindy Boutwell; stepchildren: JoAnn Ferguson and Jerry D. Ferguson, Jr.; 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Ray Boutwell, her sons: Richard Ray Boutwell, Frank Kelly Boutwell, and 7 siblings.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Hilley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Boutwell Jr., Todd Bishop, Kasey Ray Boutwell, Jim Myhand, Skip Shealy, Roger Bearden, and DeWayne Porter.
