O'Neil, Agnes M. (Hunt) Of Needham, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on November 9, 2015. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Jack O'Neil, her parents John and Helen Hunt and her brothers Francis, Billy and Paul Hunt. Agnes was a proud mother of John (Jack) O'Neil and his wife Ann of Needham, and James (Jim) O'Neil and his wife Bridget of Foxboro. She was a loving grandmother to John O'Neil Jr. and his fiancée Kristi Osley of Scottsdale, AZ, Brian O'Neil of Phoenix, AZ, Jaime O'Neil and her partner Emery Lucier of Milford, and Frances Bauman and her husband Steve of Manteo, NC, and great-grandmother to Sean and Ryan Bauman; and several nieces and nephews. Agnes was born and raised in Lawrence and resided in Needham since 1939. She served as the Assistant Town Clerk for the Town of Needham and spent her life caring for her family.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Saturday at 11am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham, at 11:30am. Visitation prior to the Mass from 10-11am in the funeral home. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham. In lieu of flowers donations, in Mrs. O'Neil's memory be made to Saint Joseph's Parish, 1382 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA 02492.
