Obituary

WEBSTER – Barbara A. (Hucksam) Cobb, 86, died Monday, November 9, 2015 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after a period of declining health. Her husband of 31 years, Burton J. Cobb, died in 2006.
She leaves two sisters, Edith and Lois Hucksam, both of Webster.
She was born in Boston, the daughter of Henry C. and Marion L. (Stokinger) Hucksam and lived in Webster and Dudley all her life. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1947.
Mrs. Cobb worked for 42 years at the Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, retiring in 1996 as an administrative assistant.
She was a communicant of Saint Louis Church and a member of the St. Louis League of Catholic Women. She was made an honorary member of the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council in recent years. She enjoyed playing bingo.
The funeral will be held Friday, November 13, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Visitation will be from 9:15 to 10:15 AM Friday in the funeral home. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to either the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 53 or to the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council, both at 3 Veterans Way, Webster, MA or to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758527, Topeka, KS 66675.
