Charlotte M. (Rastellini) Sartell passed away at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute of Boston. She was 71. Born and raised in Cambridge she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Marshall) Rastellini. Charlotte lived in Medford for most of her life and enjoyed a long career working to manage the pension fund for the Teamsters, local 25. She enjoyed gardening and playing bingo with her friends. A loving wife, mother and grandmother she will be missed by all who knew her.


The beloved wife of the late Robert Sartell, she was a devoted mother to Cheryl Rodes of Providence, RI, and Lisa Rodes of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Fallen Rastellini and her husband David Ferguson of Southbridge, Michael Rodes of Medford and a loving great grandmother of David Ferguson of Medford. The sister of the late Charles, John, Edward, Robert Rastellini and Rose Russell she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday, November 12th at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville, at 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home, Wednesday 4-8 PM.
