TAUNTON – James L. Rusconi, 91, died at his Taunton home on Nov. 7, 2015.
He was the husband of the late Marguerite (White) Rusconi, to whom he had been married for 36 years.
Born in Middletown, CT, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Maglia) Rusconi.
A Taunton resident for most of his life, Mr. Rusconi was a 1942 graduate of Taunton High School.
He served in the US Army during WWII and was later employed by the Prudential Life Insurance Company as an insurance sales manager for over 30 years before retiring in 1979.
Mr. Rusconi was a member of the Elks Lodge 150, the Sons of Italy, the Italian Social Club, the Taunton Boat Club and the Bay State Beagle Club.
In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald J. Rusconi of East Lyme, CT and James L. Rusconi, Jr. and his wife Alicia of North Attleboro; his daughter, Brenda J. Hebert and her husband Gary of Folsom, CA; three grandchildren, Kristen Shepard and her husband John, Christopher Hebert, and Nicole Hebert and her husband Rafael Cheng; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, Nov. 11th at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Ave. Taunton at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 10th from 5 to 8 p.m.
