OBITUARY OF THE BELOVED
WENDY C. SANDERS

Somewhere in back of the Sunset where loveliness never dies, she now lives in the glory amid the blue and gold skies. And we, who have known and loved her whose passing has brought sad tears, will cherish her memory always to brighten the passing years.

Wendy C. Sanders, a resident of Saugus, MA passed away at home on November 1, 2015. Wendy was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 10, 1963 to Gloria Sanders and the late Thomas H. Sanders. Wendy was fortunate enough to have two loving mothers. Wendy was also the beloved granddaughter/daughter of Thelma Artis. Wendy was raised by her Grandmother who dressed and treated her like a Baby Doll.

Wendy was born blind and with mental challenges, but she lived a happy carefree life due to her family. Wendy grew up a happy child and most of her life as someone who would burst into laughter. Her favorite song was “What’s the Use of Breaking Up”. This would make her laugh uncontrollablely. She knew the smell and sound of each of her family members and loved her family. Wendy was a special person, always excited to see those who loved her. Wendy was very humorous, she enjoyed jokes, laughing and listening to music, eating mac & cheese and chocolate donuts. She also loved going on bus rides, and airplane trips. She will be dearly missed.

Wendy leaves to mourn: Her mother Gloria Sanders, her siblings - brother Tyari Onari, of Newark, New Jersey. Her caregiver and loving sister Hope Sanders of Saugus, MA and her brother Julian S. Sanders of Newark, New Jersey.
