NATICK: Jean M. McCarthy, age 90, a lifelong Natick resident and devoted sister and friend, died early Wednesday morning, November 4, 2015, at the Eliot Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born and raised in South Natick, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Helena (Cheverie) McCarthy. Jean was employed for many years with the Dennison Manufacturing Company in Framingham prior to joining the staff of Cardinal Cushing Hospital as a nurse’s aide. There she and her sister Sarah worked together helping patients for over 20 years. A family oriented lady, Jean was known for her organizational skills, sharp mind, and crafting beautiful objects through knitting and crochet work.
She is survived by a sister, Sarah L. McCarthy, with whom she made her home; and predeceased by her brother Francis McCarthy and sisters Josephine “Maggie” Cousineau and Patricia Ann McCarthy.
Jean’s funeral service will be held at Saint Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick, on Monday, November 9th at 11:30A.M. Funeral arrangements are being made through John Everett & Sons, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
