Gilford-----Enrico H. Betti, age 91, of Sanborn Rd., Gilford, NH, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Laconia, NH. He was born on February 7, 1924 in Boston, MA, the son of the late Giuseppe (Joseph) and Marcellina Betti (Vagnini).
Enrico, formerly of Randolph, MA, was a citizen of Gilford, NH for the past 29 years. He worked as a hoisting engineer for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 4. He loved boating, doing yard work, and helping family, friends and neighbors.
Enrico was survived by his son Enrico J. Betti and his wife Gina of Sutton, MA; daughters Jean Rappoli of Rockport, MA, Joan McMorrow and her husband John of Millis, MA and Lois Paquin and her husband David of Rochester, MA; ten grandchildren, John and Joseph McMorrow, Michelle Brandel, Joan Nichols, Paul and Peter Rappoli, Maria Luchka, Tyler Paquin and Laura and Christopher Betti. Enrico is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sixteen nieces and seven nephews.
Enrico is predeceased by his sister Ida Kilburn. His loving wife of 60 years Rita D. Betti (Fahey) passed away in 2006.
All are welcome to attend calling hours on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, using the carriage house entrance.
A mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Andre Bessette Church Sacred Heart Parish, 291 Union Ave, Laconia.
Burial will immediately follow at the Bayside Cemetery, Union Ave, Laconia.
