Margaret A. “Peggy” (Lewinski) Tighe, 69, of North Attleboro, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Richard P. Tighe who died in 2001.
Born in Milford on November 15, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary E. (Dore) Lewinski.
Peggy grew up in Bellingham and graduated from Bellingham High School. She resided in Medway for many years until moving to North Attleboro in 2002.
Peggy worked in customer service at Bank of America for the past 18 years.
She enjoyed visiting and vacationing on Cape Cod and at Disney World and adored her beloved cat, Gracie.
She is survived by her son Edward J. Tighe and his partner Bryan Russell of South Attleboro and her cousin Donna Higgins of Milford.
She is also survived by a brother Robert F. Lewinski and his wife Judith of Milford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, November 9 at 11 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 - 7 p.m.
