Poirier and his wife Alida all of Swampscott. Adored grandmother of William, Robert, Philip Bochnak and Nicole Poirier and great grandmother of Alicia, Aniceta, William, Benjamin and Mateo. Loving aunt of Shelia, Louise, Betty and Bruce. Dear sister of the late Dave, Phil, Jack and Charles MacQueen. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Mon, Nov 9, from 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tues, Nov, 10, in the First Church of Winthrop United Methodist 217 Winthrop St. Winthrop, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery. Margaret was a long time employee of the Jordan Marsh Dept. Store where she worked in the claims and adjustments dept. She was an active member of the First Church of Winthrop United Methodist and one of her favorite hobbies was to square dance.
