William F. Marshall of Canton passed away November 3, 2015 after a long illness. He was 73 years old.
William worked as a school teacher for the Boston Public Schools teaching math and science in junior and middle school until retiring in 1997. He was involved with the Canton Recreation Commission where he coached youth basketball and the tennis program.
Loving husband to his devoted wife Dorothy F. Marshall of Canton. Loving father of Kimberly A. Marshall of Natick, Karen M. Gildea and her husband Kevin of Billerica, Peter W. Marshall and his wife Sara of Canton, Kristine J. Crugnale and her husband Roberto of Walpole and Julie E. Brodney and her husband Edward of Dorchester. Brother of Paul Marshall and his wife Nancy of Braintree, June Costello and her husband Charles of Milton, the late Winnifred Miller and her late husband Chester of Rockland, The late Mary Kutcher and her husband Gerald of Tewksbury, and Carol MacGillivrey and her husband Robert of Braintree. He also has 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Home for Funerals 210 Sherman St., Canton Friday from 3-7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 7, 2015 in St. John the Evangelist Church 700 Washington St., Canton at 10:30 AM. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
