Obituary

Mr. James J. O’Leary, 81, of Pelham, NH died Tuesday November 3rd at Lowell General Hospital. Son of the late James and Florence (Marquis) O’Leary he was born in Lawrence in 1934. Mr. O’Leary Served Honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Upon release from the military Mr. O’Leary returned to the Merrimack Valley where he worked at ITT Semi Conductors in Lawrence. He also worked for the Town of Pelham at the recycling center and retired from Raytheon. Mr. O’Leary enjoyed fixing things such as lawnmowers, motorcycles, and he took great pride in assembling his Volkswagen. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family. Mr. O’Leary is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary A. (Mikulis) O’Leary of Pelham. His five children Erin O’Leary of Boston, MA; Jason O’Leary and his wife Kate of Charleston, SC; Tracy O’Leary of Concord, NH; Glenn O’Leary of Englewood, FL; and Kim Vincent of Concord, NH. One brother John “Jack” O’Leary of Andover, MA; and one sister Theresa “Gerry” Adair of Franklin, NH. There are five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
