Onelia D. Gomes (48) of Florida formerly of Brockton died Oct. 30th in the Florida Hospital, Tampa.
She was born in Nova Centra, Brava, Cape Verde daughter of Francisco and Maria (Martins) Desena of Brockton. Onelia enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents she is survived by 3 sons Nicholas Gomes of Brockton, Brandon and Dillon Gomes both of Florida, 2 brothers Francisco Desena of California and Emanuel Desena of Portugal, 3 sisters Loide Desena of Florida, Isabel Gomes of Avon and Eunice Freitas of Pennsylvania, also former wife of Osvaldo Gomes.
Funeral Services will be held in the 1st Church of the Nazarene, 89 North Pearl Street Brockton, Saturday November 7th at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel Friday November 6th from 5-9 pm.
