BAREFOOT BAY, FL - John A "Jack" Jones, 77, of Barefoot Bay, Florida and Birch Point, Naples, Maine, formerly of Tewksbury, Mass. died peacefully at his home on November 1, 2015, surrounded by his children. He joined his wife, Marilyn P.(Tabler) Jones, the love of his life, who predeceased him in 1998. He was born in Somerville, Mass, the youngest child of Gerald and Nora Jones. He grew up in Arlington, Mass, where he met and married his beloved wife, Marilyn.
Jack was a retired truck driver from Beacon Fast Freight, Teamsters Union Local 25 in Boston. He was a longtime member of the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks. He leaves many friends from Tewksbury, Barefoot Bay in Florida where he was retired and was known as "Apple-Pie Jack", and Birch Point in Naples, Maine where he summered on Long Lake for more than 30 years. He was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather...his little ones brought him the most joy. He leaves his children, Deborah Ciampa, Michael Jones, Denise Iadonisi, Cynthia Milne, and John Peter Jones; his grandchildren Jonathan, Jeremy, Eric, Joshua, Nicole, Lily and Mollie; great-grandchildren, twins Noah and Caleb, Grace and Gavin; his loving sister, Mary; brother Sonny; and sisters Peggy and Jeannie, and many nieces and nephews.
