Obituary

Laconia----- Rae Anne Hann, age 44, of Laconia, NH, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday October 29, 2015. She was born on December 26, 1970 in Laconia, the daughter of Fernand V. Lachance and Beatrice Lachance-Emond. Rae Anne was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region.
Rae Anne was a people person who was generous and always willing to lend a hand. She loved her five dogs, shopping, her flower garden, cooking, and crafts. She also loved to plan events and decorate. Rae Anne will be remembered as a thoughtful and loving mother, wife, daughter, aunt and friend.
Rae Anne is survived by her husband of 11 years Alan Hann Jr.; two sons Mark A. DeGara Jr. of Laconia and Justin F. DeGara of Fort Drum, NY; her mother Beatrice Lachance-Emond of Laconia; a brother Raymond Lachance and his wife Nancy of Laconia; a step sister Charlene Little of Gilford; step brothers Ronald Emond and his wife Leslie of Wyoming and Michael Emond Jr. and his wife Dawn of Laconia; mother and father in law Alan Sr. and Patricia Hann of Meredith; two sister in laws Lisa Macguire and her husband Patrick and Wendy Mills and her husband Jeff; brother in law Corey Hann and his wife Lindsay; seven nieces and nephews, Samantha Lachance, Bergen and Garren Macguire, Sumner and Sadie Mills and Lincoln and Parker Hann; six step nieces and nephews, Kayla, Kendra, Cody and Joshua Emond, Ashley Llavina and Andy Little. Rae Anne is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rae Anne was predeceased by her father Fernand V. Lachance and her step father Michael Emond Sr. She was also predeceased by her step brother Richard Emond.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St, Laconia, using the carriage house entrance.
A mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Andre Bessette Parish Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia.
Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield St., Laconia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rae Hann Fund at any one of the eleven branches of the Meredith Village Savings Bank. Memorial donations may also be made in Rae Anne's name to a charity of one's choosing.
