Passed away unexpectedly at home on October 26, 2015. Norma will be lovingly remembered by children Donald Jr. (Andrea), Michael (Elaine) and Mary Jo Haven (Michael); adoring grandchildren Jess (Anna), Jason (Jessie Rach), Katey Johnson, Lauren Haven (Kevin Nordling), Jake, Bill and Dean; special great-grandsons Dexter and Milo Johnson, Caleb and Theodore Heitland; sister Mildred Griffin (Keith); nieces, nephews and many special friends. Preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Donald; parents Otto and Katie Oelmann; brothers Bernard and Wesley Oelmann; and infant great-grandson Oscar Heitland. Norma was born and raised in Ackley, Iowa where she married the love of her life. After living in California, they made their home in North St. Paul and Maplewood MN where they have lived for over 50 years. Norma enjoyed her family and many friends, going to the ‘trailer’, playing games and having parties. She was always the “Hostess with the Mostest”. Funeral Service on Saturday, November 7th, 11:00 AM at ST. MARK’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2499 N. Helen St. (Door 7W), No. St. Paul, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
