LILLIAN BUSCHA
Funeral services for Lillian Rody Moerbe Buscha, 84, of La Grange will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange, with interment to follow in the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 am until 7 pm Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange with the family present from 5-7 pm.
Lillian was born on December 4, 1930 in West Point, Texas to Herman and Rosie Hrbacek Moerbe. She married Raymond Buscha on June 5, 1948 in La Grange, Texas. They were joined for 58 years. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2007.
Lillian passed from this life on October 30, 2015 in an Austin, Texas hospital.
Lillian enjoyed sewing, needlework, birdwatching and cooking.
Lillian is survived by two daughters; Peggy Susan Hunger of La Grange, and Ginger Faith and her husband Mike of Conroe, Texas; 1 brother, Herbert” Check” Moerbe and his wife Rosalie of La Grange; 1 grandson Heath Hunger of La Grange, 3 grand daughters; Christine Wallace and her husband Blake of Kyle, Texas, Angela Stewart and her husband Brian of Euless, Texas and Rebecca Blandin and her husband Wade of Plano, Texas,1 great grandson; Nolan Blandin of Plano, Texas, and 4 sisters-in-law; Dorothy Moerbe of La Grange, Junell Ladewig of La Grange, Margie Buscha of La Grange, and Delores Knippa and her husband Roy of New Braunfels, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers; Edward”Shorty” Moerbe, Clinton Moerbe and his wife Agnes and Lloyd Moerbe, and 2 sisters; Elsie Kominczak and her husband Felix, and Gladys Peters and her husband Kermit and son-in-law Harold Hunger.
Family suggests memorials to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church of La Grange.
