Methuen – Joseph A. “Freddie” Dube, Jr., 47 of Methuen, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his home.
Born in Lawrence on March 27, 1968, Freddie was the son of Halina (Boganski) Dube-Beland and the late Joseph A. Dube. He was educated in the Lawrence school system and worked as a paver for the De Cola Paving Company in Salem, NH. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool, darts, and 45’s at VFW, Post 8349 in Methuen.
Freddie will be deeply missed by his fiancé, Lisa Thompson of Methuen; his mother, Halina Dube-Beland and her husband, Roland of Virginia; 2 sons, Joseph P. Dube and his wife, Angela of South Carolina and Zachary Dube of California; 5 grandchildren; 11 siblings, Doreen Saffie and her husband, Dennis of Derry, NH, Michael Fraser and his wife, Brenda of Rochester, NH, Mark Fraser and his wife, Joanie of Gonic, NH, Robert Dube and his wife, Louise of Salem, NH, Bruce Fraser and his wife, Sally of California, John Fraser of Pembrook, NH, Paul Fraser of Sandown, NH, Estella Watson and her husband, Scott of Virginia, Halina Legendre of Hampstead, NH, Henry Dube and his wife, Gail of Salem, NH, and Thomas Dube and his wife, Donna of Salem, NH; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Christopher Dube.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Freddie’s life by gathering for his Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM on Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Friends are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
