Obituary

Olga Ann (Andruchow) McDonough, 96, of Methuen passed away at the Prescott House Nursing Home on October 27, 2015 after a short illness. Born in Salem, New Hampshire on October 12, 1919, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Karas) Andruchow. A life-long resident of Methuen, she attended Methuen schools and was a 1937 graduate of Methuen's Edward F. Searles High School.
Olga was married for more than 61 years to William F. McDonough Jr., who predeceased her in 2009. She was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters: William, Mary, James, Andrew, and Lillian. Olga is survived by sons William F McDonough III of Methuen, Thomas P. McDonough and his wife Donna of Salisbury and daughter Katherine A (McDonough) Dichter and her husband Mark of New York City. She also leaves three grandchildren: William R. McDonough of New Hampshire, Timothy J. McDonough of Florida, and Erin E (McDonough) Huggins of Florida. There are five beloved great-grandchildren: Lillian and Zachary of New Hampshire and Alyssa, Evelyn, and Olivia of Florida. Olga's extended family of survivors includes a large number of nieces and nephews and their families.
At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
