Dr. Renato C. Mendoza age 66 of Canton passed away October 21st at home surrounded by his loving family. Born, raised and educated in Malolos Bulacan, Philippines, he has lived in Canton for the last 20 years. Dr. Mendoza was a Family Medical Doctor at the Carney Hospital, a Family Medical Practice in Weymouth and most recently a physician at the Clinic at Bridgewater State Correctional Facility and was a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Beloved husband of Amelia (Jumaday). Father of Myrene Johnson and her husband Timothy of Bridgewater, Christopher Mendoza of Canton and Marc Mendoza of Boston. Grandfather of Meghan, Timothy Jr., Madeline, Zachary and Benjamin Johnson and Hannah, Myles and Olivia Mendoza. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Saturday morning at 10:30.
