Obituary

Debra A. (Sennett) D'Ambrosio, a 25 year resident of Charlestown and formerly of Roslindale and Dorchester, entered into eternal life suddenly on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 59 years old.

Debra was born in Boston on July 27, 1956, a daughter of the late Mark Sennett and Dorothy (Reid) Sennett. She grew up in Dorchester where she was educated in the Boston Public School System and graduated from Boston English High School. Following High School, Debra attended classes at Fisher Junior College. Debra worked for many years, most recently retiring as President of Hoagland Instrument, Inc. She also worked for Chadwick Martin Bailey for several years, and the Commission for the Blind for 10 years. Debra enjoyed gardening tremendously. She also taught Sunday School at St. John's Episcopal Church in Charlestown, as well as working in the Church Vestry. Debra also volunteered with the Catholic Youth Organization(CYO).

Debra is the beloved wife of 32 years to Michael J. D’Ambrosio Jr. She is the devoted mother of Derek D’Ambrosio, Michael D’Ambrosio, and the late Joseph D’Ambrosio all of Charlestown. She is the loving sister of Mark S. Sennett of Canton, Gail R. Sennett of Rockland, and Linda Robinson of Milford. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Debra’s Visiting Hours on Friday October 16, 2015 from 4-8 PM with her Funeral Service at 7:30 PM in The Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will be private.

Memorial donations may be made in Debra’s name to MSPCA 350 S Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
