Mr. Leonard B. Foote, Sr., a resident of West Palm, Florida, formerly of Andover and beloved husband of the late Marilyn J. (Rowe) Foote, passed away at the DelRay Hospice House in DelRay Beach, Florida on Sunday, September 27, 2015. He was 82 years old.
Born on June 25, 1933, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Leonard and Isabelle Foote. Leonard was a Korean War Air Force Veteran, entering the military at Boston, on July 27, 1957 and receiving his honorable discharge on November 18, 1953. Mr. Foote was a graduate of New York State University and had worked as an Executive for Eastern Airlines, Raytheon, Polaroid and Data General. In his spare time, Mr. Foote volunteered his time as a coach for the Andover Hockey Association. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as Lector at St. Mark Church in Boynton Beach. Len was also an avid fisherman. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Leonard is survived by his loving children; Leonard B. and his wife Linda L. Foote of North Andover, Frederick J. Foote and his wife Kim Phister-Foote of San Ramon, California and M.B. Foote of Ft. Collins, Colorado, grandchildren; Andrew, David, Amanda, James, Alisa and Michael.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Friday, October 16, 2015, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
