Laconia-----Francis M. Ludtka of Laconia, formerly of Connecticut, peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the age of 60 years old. He was born on December 30, 1954 in Rochester, NY, the son of the late Francis H. and Theresa M. Ludtka (Katalenas).
Francis proudly served his country in the U.S. Air force from 1974-1978. He worked as a machine operator for Aavid Engineering until his retirement in 1992. He loved the Yankees, the NY Giants, golf and Nascar. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren who were his world.
Francis is survived by his wife of 34 years Valerie Ludtka (Delchiaro); Four daughters, Melissa Provencher and her husband Matt, Michele Ludtka and her partner Andrew Leitch, Tracy McMath and her husband Doug and Sherry Suttles and her husband Chris; a sister, Laurie A. Talbot and her husband Robert; six grandchildren, Hannah, Braydon, Madison, Makenzie, Jordan and Kaitlyn. Francis also leaves behind four nieces, two great nieces and two nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St, Laconia, using the carriage house entrance.
A service will take place at the beginning of calling hours in the funeral home, promptly at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Francis's name to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hospital, 1 Medical Center Dr., Lebanon, NH 03766, or to the Lakes Region Children's Auction, 72 Meadow Brook Lane, Gilford, NH 03249.
