Angela Caroline Pozzo-Dailey entered heaven at the age of 94 in the arms of her daughter on October 12, 2015 in Sharon, MA. She was born on Nov. 2, 1920 in Canton, MA to Victor and Santina Pozzo. She proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1944-45 where she met her husband, Robert J. Dailey and moved to Ohio. An extremely devoted mother to surviving children- Michael Dailey of Warren Ohio, Patrick Dailey of Alton, IL, and Deborah Mindick and her husband Joseph of Sharon, MA. Known as “Nanny” to her grandchildren. Her surviving grandchildren are Traci of Ohio, Lisa of Florida, Michael of Colorado, Slaiman of Chicago, Laura of Illinois, Moishe of Cleveland, and Chaim Tevya of Sharon, MA. Her surviving great grandchildren are Randall Jr., Gabrielle and Ruby of Liberty, Ohio; Kendall, Hudson and Parker of Florida; Isabella and Evan of CO; Chana Nisa, Itzik, and Menachem Mendel of Cleveland, Ohio and Angelina, Timothy and Zia of Alton, Illinois and Jacob of Missouri. Angela was predeceased by her granddaughter, McKenzie of Ohio whom was an extraordinary special child. Angela lived to love her children and grandchildren for each and every one was as special and loved as the other. Each of their accomplishments was a victory for Angela. She adored them all. Her spunk and sassiness will be missed by all, she had a zest for life in many ways. She loved singing and crafts and often sang for family members. Her favorite songs included, “New York, New York” and “I did it my way”. She lived a full life, often working several jobs with a smile and hard work ethic. Her generosity to others was well known, always remembering every one’s birthday or special event. A private burial ceremony will be held at St. Mary’s cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in her name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of your choice.
