George J. Perry (86) of Northboro, formerly of Hudson, passed away Sunday, October 4th surrounded by his family.
George, the son of Joseph and Adeline Perry and the husband of Dorothy Perry grew up in Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School the class of 1948. George served 25 years in the National Guard and retired as a cabinet maker from Raytheon Corporation in Sudbury.
George was an avid golfer and played in many leagues in the area and wintered in Florida to play golf and vacation.
George was predeceased by their daughter Debra Ann Perry of Hebo, Oregon. George is survived by his wife Dorothy Perry of Northboro, his sister Dorothy St. James of Bolton, his brother in law’s Lou Rydant of Northboro and Roger Mercaldi of Beverly along with his sister in law Laurie Goodrich of Schenectady, NY and many, many, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 17th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17th from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Tighe-¬Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 prior to the mass.
