Constance “Connie” M. (Beauchense) Proulx, 83, of Lakeland FL, passed away on Wednesday October 7th at the Holy Family Hospital. She was born in Lawrence where she was raised and educated. Connie worked as a waitress for many years at Savastano’s Restaurant and in her free time she enjoyed cooking,traveling, ballroom dancing, were she met her husband John at the Rockingham Ballroom and subsequently winning numerous competitions and awards, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Connie is survived by her husband of 16 years Retired Lieutenant Colonel John F. Proulx of Lakeland FL, a son Bob Beauchense and his wife Pamela of Belgrade ME, step son Guy Cote of Lincoln NH,grandchildren Christopher Beauchense, Jessica (Beauchense) White and her husband Sergeant Douglas White, Ben Cote, Chris Cote, great grandchildren Keagan White, Mackenzie White, sisters in law Aurore Proulx, Beatrice Proulx, Lucille (Beauchense) Theresa (Beauchense) Furnari and many nieces and nephews. Connie is predeceased by her first husband former Massachusetts State Representative Wilfred Beauchense, sisters Lilian Patnaude, Theresa Bryer, sisters in law Flo (Beauchense) Dube, Yvonne (Beauchense) LaPlant.
Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend calling hours on Monday October 12th from 4-8 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday October 13th at 11AM at St Monica’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen.
