Obituary

Caitlin Anne Hennessy, a lifelong resident of Malden, entered into eternal life suddenly on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She was 25 years old.

Caitlin was born in Melrose on November 15, 1989, a daughter of Patrick Hennessy and Julie A. (McKay) Hennessy. Caitlin grew up in Malden where she was educated in the Malden Public School system and graduated from Malden High School in 2008. Caitlin furthered her education and received her B.A. Degree in English and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Salem State University in 2012 where she also worked in the library for 4 years. She enjoyed writing poetry, painting and she volunteered her time at local nursing homes.

Caitlin is the loving daughter of Patrick Hennessy and Julie A. (McKay) Hennessy. She is the devoted sister of Kyle P. Hennessy. She is the beloved granddaughter of Carol Famiglietti and her husband Thomas, Bernard McKay and his wife Janice and the late Robert and Helen Hennessy. She is the dear cousin of Virginia Peterson and is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Caitlin's Funeral on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 8:45 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Melrose followed by her Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St. Malden at 10 A.M. Her burial will be at Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
