Elizabeth L. (Barry) “Betty” “BeBe” Wesley, of Medford, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully, on October 3rd, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Richard J. and Margaret P. (McCarthy) Barry.

Following high school graduation, Betty went on to become a certificate writer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

A selfless and loving woman, BeBe loved her family and enjoyed life.

Betty was the beloved wife of David A.Wesley. The devoted step mother of Jay Wesley and his wife Michelle of North Reading, Christopher H. Wesley and his wife Courtney of ME. She was the loving grandmother of Jackson, Gavin, Oliva and Lexi Wesley. Adored aunt of Sherri Caouette and her husband David of North Andover, P.J. Oppedisano of Tewksbury and great niece Eva E. Oppedisano.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 262 Washington Street, Somerville, at 10 AM . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM. Services will conclude with a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
