Obituary

Harold W. “Bill” Chubbuck, Jr., age 51 of Attleboro, died peacefully at his home on October 1, 2015 surrounded by his family and dear friends. He was the loving husband of Brenda (Shepardson) Chubbuck. Born and raised in Brockton, the son of and the late Nancy E. (Ayers) Chubbuck of Brockton and Harold W. Chubbuck Sr. of Florida. Bill attended Brockton High School and Bristol Community College. He served overseas in Germany with the Army and had been employed as a store manager for AT&T. Bill was a talented musician and guitarist. He was a member of the band “embedded” with his childhood friends and cousin. He served as Vice President of Fundraising for the Friends of Music at North Attleboro High School. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Patriots, and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Lauren Chubbuck of Taunton, Harold “Bill” Chubbuck, III and his fiancée Makala of Taunton. He was the brother of Rhonda Curtis and her husband Randy of Brockton, Michelle Branch of Oklahoma City, Mary Thomas and her husband Jerry of Kimball, TN, Andrew Chevchuck of Brockton, Sharon Asam and her husband Manny of Carver, James Chubbuck of Brockton and the late Michael Chubbuck. He is also survived by his nieces Madison, Shelby, Allyson, Breanna, Jessica, Isabella, Veronica and Sarah, and nephews Brett, Christopher and Mark, as well as his stepchildren Eden, Corey and Samantha Beauregard; and two grandchildren Thomas and Mathew.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday 4-8pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 10:30am followed by burial in Melrose Cemetery.
