Margaret Spurrell, 73, of Derry, NH, wife of the late Paul F. Spurrell, passed away Friday October 2, 2015 at her home. She was born in Framingham, MA on November 6, 1941, a daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (Hanagan) McKiernan. She was a former resident of Somerville, MA.
She is survived by three children, Donna Spurrell, Paul Spurrell, Jr., and Andrea Crowell all of Derry; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Maureen Dickey of Framingham, MA. She was predeceased by her siblings, Hugh P. Jr., James S., John J., and Michael F. McKiernan.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 6th from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial will in follow St. Bridget Cemetery, 1 Percival Street, Maynard, MA.
