WEBSTER - Rita L. (Parenteau) Bogatkowski, 82, died Friday, September 18, 2015 in Webster Manor after a short illness.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Edward M. Bogatkowski; 2 daughters, Jane E. Eldridge of Laconia, NH and Lisa J. Faucher and her husband Raymond of North Grosvenordale, CT; 5 grandchildren, Laura, Matthew and Carrie Eldridge, Erin Kennedy and her husband Michael, and Ian-Raymond Faucher; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyson Riley, Tanner Marie, Ariana Jane and Charlie Grace; a brother, George A. “Flicka” Parenteau of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Raymond Edward Faucher, by 3 sisters, Doris Cervine, Lorraine Parenteau and Claire Savage, and by 2 brothers, Emile and Paul Parenteau.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Maurice and Florence (Pion) Parenteau and lived here all her life. She completed the commercial course at Saint Anne’s School.
Mrs. Bogatkowski was a homemaker. She also worked at W. T. Grant Company and at Park ‘N’ Shop. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
The funeral was held privately. Donations in her name may be made to St. Anne’s Elementary School, 12 Day St., PO Box 818, Webster, MA 01570-0818. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
