Philip Charles Cogswell, Sr., 52, of Anderson, died unexpectedly, Oct. 1, 2015, at his residence.

He was born March 4, 1963, in Muncie.


He was a tool and die maker for Chrysler in Kokomo for 19 years.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge, U.A.W.; enjoyed 4-wheelers, fishing and liked trucks.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Darlene Hayden of Trafalgar, IN; his parents Donald Charles and Joyce Kay (Noble) Cogswell of Chesterfield,; three sons, Cody Cogswell of Pendleton; Philip (Veronica) Cogswell, Jr.; Brady Cogswell of Pendleton; two grandchildren; his sister, Cindy (Brian) Touro of Geneva, IL; two nieces and a nephew.

Masonic services will be performed by Markleville Lodge # 681 at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service followed by the funeral with Kent Stookey of Bethany Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfield.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
