Passed away peacefully September 30, 2015. Betty was born in River Falls, WI, married Clair Murphy in 1955 & moved to St. Paul. Betty was preceded in death by her father & mother, Lloyd & Ardys Anderson. Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clair; sons Gregory (Catherine), Jeffrey (Patricia), Christopher (Martina); 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister Delores (Robert) Nelson; & many relatives. Betty had a great enthusiasm for life & a captivating ability to interact with people, making them feel good about themselves. Betty was blessed with a fun-loving group of friends who enjoyed golf, bowling, softball, dancing & a host of other activities. Her personal qualities were the foundation for being effective at any job she held. She retired from ProStaff Personnel Services in 1997 as one of the top interviewers. Betty’s major accomplishment in life was raising & mentoring three fine sons. Betty was a beautiful lady not just for her countenance, far more beauty emanated from her heart. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday (10/8) 11:00 AM at PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1725 Kennard St., Maplewood, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Private interment St. Bridget’s Cemetery, River Falls, WI. Memorial preferred to Mayo Clinic for dementia research or to Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.
