New Bedford – Elizabeth A. (Grant) Isabelle, age 77, passed away on Tuesday September 29, 2015 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility after a long illness. She was the wife of 57 years to Joseph P. Isabelle.
Mrs. Isabelle was survived by her husband, Joseph, and her 5 children: George J. Isabelle, Sr. and his wife, Cheryl, of New Bedford, Susanne Barksdale and her husband, Thomas, of Haverhill, John P. Isabelle, Sr. of New Bedford, James Isabelle and his wife, Nancy, of Acushnet and Joseph Isabelle, Jr. and his wife, Leeann, of Las Cruces, NM; as well as 34 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Religious Service will be held at Open Door Baptist Church, 132 Jouvette St. in New Bedford, on Tuesday, October 6 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, Ma 02740.
